Maria Oikonomidou is a Class B Certified Energy Inspector registered in the Register of Energy Inspectors (AM 770) of the Ministry of Environment and Energy and undertakes to issue Energy Efficiency Certificates (ΠΕΑ) for every type of building (detached house, apartment, apartment building , shop, commercial building, office building, hotel, etc.) by conducting an energy inspection in accordance with all the procedures provided by law.

The energy inspection aims to:
a) In the assessment of the primary energy consumption of the building per  use (heating, cooling, ventilation, lighting, DHW) and overall
b) In the energy classification of the building
c) In the issue of Energy Efficiency Certificate ( ΠΕΑ )
d) Drafting recommendations to the owner/user to improve the energy efficiency of his building

The Energy efficiency Certificate ( ΠΕΑ ) is valid for 10 years and is now mandatory in case of rental or transfer (sale, donation, parental allowance, etc.) for all existing as well as new buildings or parts of buildings with residential or commercial use or any business premises (excluding buildings used for industry, craft, warehouse, workshop, etc.)

What is the process for issuing a  Energy Efficiency Certificate ( ΠΕΑ )?
    • Assignment of the energy inspection of the building or part of the building to the Energy Inspector by the manager/owner
    • Delivery of supporting documents and on-site inspection by the Inspector in the building. Recording and verifying the details of the dataprovided by the administrator / owner.
    • Processing of the elements of the building or part of a building by applying the methodology for calculating the energy efficiency of a building, as referred to in the Regulation on the Energy Efficiency of Buildings ( KENAK )
    • Drafting of the ΠΕΑ as described in article 14 of KENAK.
    • Issuance of the ΠΕΑ, electronic Performance of the Energy Inspection Protocol Number, electronic registration of it in the Building Inspection File together with the Building Energy Inspection form.

Delivery of the Energy Inspection form (ΠΕΑ) stamped and signed to the manager / owner by the Energy Inspector.
